Return & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all orders placed on theembroiderspot.com. By initiating a return or exchange, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1) Return Window

We offer a 30-day return period starting from the date your order is delivered (according to the carrier’s tracking).

For orders shipped into the European Union (EU), customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period (see Section 9).
Note: Requests made after these periods cannot be accepted.
2) Eligibility
To qualify for a return:

Items must be in the same condition as received: unused/unworn, unwashed, free of odors, no damage from storage, with all original tags attached, and in the original packaging.

A receipt or proof of purchase (order confirmation email, invoice, or order number) must be included.

All returns must be pre-approved and accompanied by a return label provided by us.

Items shipped back without approval will not be accepted.
3) Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:

Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants).

Custom or personalized products (special embroidery orders, name/initial monograms, or bespoke designs).

Personal care goods (cosmetics, hygiene-related items).

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

Sale/discounted items and gift cards.
If you are uncertain whether your product qualifies, please email us at contact@theembroiderspot.com before shipping it back.
4) Damages, Defects, or Wrong Item
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect:

Contact us within 7 days of receiving the order at contact@theembroiderspot.com.

Include your order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
Once verified, we will provide a prepaid return label (if applicable) and either send a replacement (subject to availability) or issue a refund.
5) Returns for Size/Color Change or Change of Mind

Returns are accepted within 30 days if they meet the conditions in Section 2.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for change-of-mind or sizing/color reasons.

If the return is due to an error on our part (Section 4), we will cover return shipping.

The fastest way to get a new size or product is to return the original item and place a new order after approval.
6) How to Start a Return

Request: Email contact@theembroiderspot.com with the subject line “Return/Exchange – [Order #]”. Provide your reason and attach photos if relevant.

Approval: Once approved, we will send you a return label and instructions.

Pack & Ship:

Use the original packaging (if available) and include your proof of purchase.

Attach the return label and ship to:

Confirmation: We will notify you when we receive and inspect the returned package.
Important: Returns sent without authorization will not be accepted.
7) Inspection & Approval
Upon receiving your item, our team will inspect for condition, tags, completeness, and packaging. You will be notified if your return is approved or denied, with reasoning provided.
8) Refunds

If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method.

Processing takes up to 10 business days after approval.

Your bank or payment provider may require extra time to finalize the refund.

If you do not receive your refund within 15 business days of approval, please contact contact@theembroiderspot.com.
Note: Original shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
9) EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
For EU customers:

You may cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason, without justification.

The product must still meet eligibility requirements (Section 2).

Unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
10) Exchanges
To exchange for a different size, color, or product:

Follow the return process above.

After your return is approved, place a new order.
This ensures faster fulfillment of your desired product.
11) Packaging & Responsibility

Customers are responsible for the product’s condition until it reaches us.

Please pack carefully, reuse the original box or bag if possible, and keep shipping receipts/tracking for your records.
12) International Orders, Duties & Customs

International orders may incur import duties, taxes, or customs fees that are non-refundable.

When returning from abroad, clearly mark the parcel as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges.
